I get enormous pleasure out of feeding my kids, particularly when their hunger pangs are punctuated by the challenge “but there’s nothing in the house to eat.” That was what confronted me today at 1:00 PM.

By 1:24, my daughter was busy delighting in a grilled turkey sausage, Brussel sprouts sautéed with garlic, roasted chick peas seasoned with smoked Spanish paprika, a crunchy romaine and carrot salad with an Herbes de Provence Vinaigrette, and a side of black beans. Only the black beans were left over from last night.

She: “I want to eat that all over again.”
Me: Happy
The point: you can do it, i.e., make a delicious and nutritious meal in not a lot of time.
How can I help?
