STUDY FINDS EATING NUTS HELPS CHOLESTEROL Need I say more?
As reported by the New York Times this week from a study appearing in the Archives of Internal Medicine: “Eating about two and a half airplane snacks worth of nuts every day helps lower total cholesterol and “bad” LDL cholesterol, and improves the ratio of total cholesterol to good “HDL” cholesterol.” Nuts are the richest source of protein in the plant kingdom and they compete with cholesterol to be absorbed. So go ahead and eat your nuts!
